Toronto Book Awards 2021 Virtual Prize Ceremony

Join us for the announcement of the winner of the 2021 Toronto Book Award in a virtual prize ceremony hosted by Ismaila Alfa.
Established by Toronto City Council in 1974, the Toronto Book Awards honour authors of books of literary or artistic merit that are evocative of Toronto. The annual awards offer $15,000 in prize money: finalists receive $1,000 and the winning author is awarded $10,000.
2021 Toronto Books Awards shortlisted authors and publishers are:
Missing From the Village by Justin Ling (Penguin Random House Canada)
Crosshairs by Catherine Hernandez (HarperCollins Canada)
Æther: An Out-of-Body Lyric by Catherine Graham (Wolsak & Wynn)
Swimmers in Winter by Faye Guenther (Invisible Publishing)
On Property by Rinaldo Walcott (Biblioasis)
Speak, Silence by Kim Echlin (Penguin Random House Canada)
