Intro to Birding – With or Without Binoculars (Part 1)

By TPL Programs

Get closer to nature through birding, the enjoyment of observing and listening to these feathery creatures.
Learn how to get started with this popular activity from the comfort of your home or by discovering popular birding locations near you.
Presented by Andrés Jiménez, Urban Program Coordinator at Birds Canada and TPL’s 2020 Environmentalist in Residence (EnvIR) as part of the Toronto Bird Celebration.
To help connect Torontonians to the birds that live in or visit our city, a limited number of binoculars will be available for loan as part of a special birding kit pilot project. Registration details will be announced at this program.
This program will be recorded and available for replay at the same link for a week after the program goes live.
This virtual presentation is the Live & Online version of Toronto Public Library's Our Fragile Planet program series, supported by TD Friends of the Environment (TD FEF).
