Sarah Dollard & JP Larocque: Art & Artists During COVID-19

By TPL Innovation

Books, movies and TV have been a refuge for many during the COVID-19 crisis, but how has the pandemic affected creators in the LGBTQ2S+ community?
As part of Toronto Public Library's Pride Month celebrations, screenwriters Sarah Dollard (Dr. Who, A Discovery of Witches, Being Human, Bridgerton) and JP Larocque (Gay Nerds, Slasher, Another Life) join us to talk about their work, staying creative in quarantine and how the pandemic has impacted artists, especially those in the queer community. They will also take audience questions and share their thoughts about how we can actively support creators during difficult times, as well as books, movies and shows they’ve been enjoying in self-isolation.
