About the Author

Bruce Sterling (Schismatrix, The Zenith Angle, Zeitgeist) is an internationally bestselling author, journalist, editor, columnist, and critic. He is perhaps best known as the author of ten visionary science-fiction novels and as a founder of the cyberpunk movement. He was also the editor of the quintessential cyberpunk anthology, Mirrorshades. Sterling splits his time among the cities of Austin, Turin, and Belgrade.

Christopher Brown's debut novel, Tropic of Kansas (2017), was a finalist for the John W. Campbell Award for best science fiction novel of the year. Rule of Capture, the first in a series of speculative legal thrillers, was published in 2019, which was followed in 2020 by the Philip K Dick Award nominated Failed State. He lives in Austin with  his family, in the edgeland woods between the river and the factories, where I work in a 1978 Airstream trailer.
