About the Authors
Heidi Heilig is the author of The Girl from Everywhere, The Ship Beyond Time, and the Shadow Players trilogy. She grew up in Hawaii, where she rode horses and raised peacocks. Her favorite thing, outside of writing, is travel, and she has haggled for rugs in Morocco, hiked the trails of the Ko‘olau Valley, and huddled in a tent in Africa. She holds an MFA from New York University in musical theatre writing, and she’s written book and lyrics for several shows. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, her sons, and their pet snake.

Justina Ireland enjoys dark chocolate, dark humor, and is not too proud to admit that she’s still afraid of the dark. She lives with her husband, kid, and dog in Pennsylvania. She is the author of Dread Nation (a New York Times bestseller), Vengeance Bound and Promise of Shadows.
