Zero Knowledge - The Known Unknown

Zero Knowledge is all the rave these days, and rightly so. But what exactly do we mean by Zero Knowledge? How do we prove that a proof system contains "zero knowledge"? When does a STARK become "zero knowledge"?
The talk will assume 0 knowledge about Zero Knowledge, and will attempt to make 0 reference to "Where's Waldo" and "The Cave Example".
